The following slate of 2008 Officers & Directors of Maine Merchants Association were unanimously elected at MMA's October 19 annual meeting at the Holiday Inn Conference Center in Augusta .

The Nominating Committee recommended that Robert Reny and Laird Spaulding continue as ex-officio members.

The board of directors and Nominating Committee accepted with regret the resignations of longtime board members Diane Wagner, Moody & Co., Augusta; Kevin Adams, Kittery Trading Post, Kittery , and Terry McKenney, Maine Auto Service Professionals, Cumberland Center . Elected to fill those vacancies were Richard Rosen of Rosen's in Bucksport, Fox Keim of Kittery Trading Post, and Mark Duval, of Duval's Service Center in South Portland .

There will be several board vacancies at the October 2008 annual meeting and recommendations are always welcome.
